Our mission is simple: to help you work more efficiently, safely, and confidently with tools that cut the way they should. We’re committed to helping woodworkers, cabinet shops, arborists, and other professionals keep their cutting tools in peak condition through dependable sharpening. We also believe in sharing practical knowledge around proper tool care and maintenance, helping extend the life and performance of your equipment. Every tool we service is inspected, sharpened, and tested with care by an individual technician on specialized equipment. We stand by our work.

Where We Started

Precision Sharpening is a family-run business founded in 2006 by Craig Cazier with a simple but demanding goal: provide reliable, expert sharpening for professionals who depend on their tools every day.

What began in the professional grooming and shear sharpening industry has grown into a dedicated sharpening shop serving southeast Idaho with the same focus on sharpness, proper function, and consistent results across both fine cutting tools and heavier-duty trade equipment.

Trained for Consistent Results

In 2024, Craig passed the torch to his grandson, Jordan Harada. Jordan continues the original vision of Precision Sharpening while bringing a strong focus to transparency, education, and process improvement. His training emphasized proper tool geometry, alignment, adjustment, and repeatable results.

Sharpening for Trade Tools

We sharpen table saw blades, router bits, chainsaw chains, mower blades, hedge trimmers, and other cutting equipment used by local shops, crews, and property owners. Every tool is individually inspected, sharpened using equipment suited to that tool, and checked before it is returned.
