Here's how it works...

1. Schedule Pickup or Drop Off 📦

We offer flexible service options to make professional sharpening easy for both individual woodworkers and busy shops. Customers can schedule local pickup, drop tools off at our location, or complete our order form and mail in their blades using secure packaging.

For mail-in service, blades should be protected with cardboard, blade guards, or other padding to prevent movement during shipping. Clear labeling and proper packaging help ensure tools arrive safely and ready for service.

Local customers can take advantage of scheduled pickup routes, making sharpening convenient without disrupting shop workflow.

2. Professional Sharpening & Carbide Tip Replacement

Every blade is professionally cleaned, inspected, and sharpened using precision equipment. We use a Thorvie AV-40 to hand-sharpen each blade, allowing for accurate tooth geometry, consistent angles, and balanced cutting performance.

Damaged or missing carbide tips can be replaced when repair is practical. Each blade is evaluated individually to determine the best service approach, and sharpening is performed by a single technician from start to finish to maintain consistency and quality control throughout the process.

Our goal is to restore clean cutting performance while extending the usable life of your blades.

3. Quality Checked by Experts ✔️

Every blade is closely inspected and measured within a thousandth of an inch after sharpening to ensure it meets performance standards. This includes checking tooth sharpness, consistency, balance, and overall cutting integrity.

Each blade is handled individually to ensure precise results. If a blade does not perform as expected after service, it can be re-evaluated and corrected at no additional charge.

Quality control is a critical part of our process and helps ensure blades are returned ready for professional use.

4. Fast Return Shipping, Pickup, or Delivery 🚚

Once sharpening or repair is complete, blades are carefully packaged and prepared for return shipping or scheduled pickup. Mail-in orders are shipped back promptly to minimize downtime, while local customers can arrange pickup or delivery during the next service route.

Turnaround times vary depending on order size and service needs, but we strive to keep the process efficient, predictable, and well communicated. Secure handling and clear scheduling help ensure your tools are returned safely and ready to work.

Here's What Our Customers Say...

"Excellent sharpening and even better customer service! Highly recommend for your sharpening needs."

Emily Wade

“I have been running this saw blade nonstop for 2 whole days and am starting on day 3. This blade is still cutting clean. I’m 77 cabinets in, plus filler and panels, and it is still looking good. I commend the quality.”

Adrian Coffey

"Jordan is awesome! He kept me updated on the status of my equipment and did a great job with my valuable equipment. Highly recommend."

Raylene Long

"I've been going to this sharpening business now. For fourteen years.... Now that this young man is taken over the business. It is still a great business. Still, doing the great sharpening, they've always done plus lots of little extras. I highly recommend it. I never have a problem with their sharpening."

frequently asked questions

How many times can a blade be sharpened?

Carbide-tipped saw blades can typically be sharpened multiple times. The exact number depends on the size of the carbide teeth and how much wear or damage the blade has. Many quality blades can be sharpened several times over their lifespan when serviced before excessive wear or chipping occurs.

We inspect every blade before sharpening and only remove the minimum material needed to restore a clean, precise cutting edge. This helps maximize blade life while maintaining cutting performance.

Do you replace carbide tips?

Yes — we replace damaged or missing carbide tips when possible.

If a blade has chipped, broken, or missing teeth, we can braze on new carbide and restore the blade before sharpening. Each blade is inspected to determine whether repair is practical and cost-effective. If a blade is too worn or damaged to safely repair, we’ll let you know before any work is done.

Our goal is to help you get the longest usable life from your blades while ensuring they cut safely and accurately.

Do you offer pickup?

Yes. We currently offer scheduled pickup and delivery service throughout the Idaho Falls area.

We are actively expanding service routes and plan to include Pocatello and Rexburg in the near future. If you’re located outside our current route, feel free to reach out; we may still be able to coordinate service or arrange mail-in sharpening.

Do you offer a rush service? Can I rush half my order?

Yes, an expedited service is provided at the normal service cost plus 30%. Depending on other rush orders, same-day service or 24hr turnaround is available, not including shipping time. You can rush part of your order if you only need some items completed immediately; in these cases, the rush fee is only applied to applicable items.

What’s the turnaround time?
We strive for a standard turnaround time of one week for most sharpening services. For larger shop or pickup orders, turnaround may take up to two weeks, depending on order size and route scheduling. Pickup orders are typically returned on the next scheduled service route once the sharpening work is complete.

If you have a deadline or rush need, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule whenever possible.
Do you guarantee your work?
Of course. We stand by our sharpening and testing methods and we know that sometimes our results in shop are not perfectly indicative of performance in a working environment under heavy use. Notify us of any piece of equipment that is not performing as expected within one month and we will resharpen or service again at no additional charge. Any further replacement parts will be billed as usual unless our shop is responsible for damage.
