How It Works
1. Start Your Repair
Begin by filling out the order form with your contact information and details about your clipper's symptoms. Be sure to indicate whether your order includes clipper repair only, blade sharpening, or both. You can bundle your sharpening and repair for no additional wait time.
Once your equipment arrives at the shop, we aim to complete service in less than one week. This allows us to work efficiently without rushing critical repair steps, while making sure your vital equipment is returned to you as soon as possible.
2. Drop Off or Mail in Your Clipper
For our local customers, just drop by 1044 N 1100 E, Shelley, ID 83274, and we'll get your clipper repair order logged in.

3. We Diagnose & Repair
Once received, your clipper is carefully inspected and serviced by one technician throughout the entire process.
This process typically includes:
- Cleaning and disassembly
- Inspection of internal components, including the circuit board
- Replacement of common wear items, such as the drive lever when needed
- Reassembly and adjustment
Every repaired clipper is then tested to confirm it is back to working condition.
4. Your Clipper is Ready to Work
After testing, your clipper is ready to get back to work. Local customers will be notified by phone and may pick up at their earliest convenience. Mail orders are wrapped in bubble wrap, securely boxed, and shipped back.
If your clipper still has issues after it arrives back to you, we’re happy to take another look at it at no additional charge.
Our goal is to return equipment you can confidently put back to work.

Here's What Our Customers Say...
Questions? We're Here to Help.
How long does clipper repair take?
Turnaround time depends on the condition of the clippers and whether parts are needed. Once your equipment arrives, it’s inspected, repaired, tested, and sent back as efficiently as possible. More complex repairs or parts availability can affect timing. For mail-in orders, turnaround time is also dependent on shipping speed.
We aim to complete all repairs within one week of receiving your clipper.
How much will it cost to repair my clipper?
Repair cost starts with a full-service inspection and maintenance fee, $24.50 for standard clippers and $35.00 for large animal clippers. This service covers evaluation and routine servicing; replacement parts, if needed, are added separately. For transparency, we do not perform major repairs without customer approval before proceeding.
What if my clipper can’t be repaired?
If we determine that your clipper cannot be repaired, we charge a small diagnostic fee for our time. This is rare, and often only occurs when we are unable to acquire replacement parts.
We sell replacement equipment in-store for the convenience of our customers who may need an immediate replacement.
Should I send blades with my clipper?
Only include blades you would like sharpened. You’re welcome to include any number of clipper blades in the same box. Blade sharpening is completed alongside your clipper repair, with no additional wait time.
How do I package my clipper for shipping?
Wrap your clipper securely in bubble wrap and place it in a snug, sturdy box so it cannot move or rattle during transit. Proper packing helps prevent shipping damage. Include your completed order form and the clipper battery and charger for cordless clippers in the box. For step-by-step guidance, please refer to the “Packing Instructions” on page 2 of the order form, which provides more detailed instructions.
Do you repair older or discontinued models?
Yes - we repair older and discontinued clippers as long as replacement parts are still available. After inspection, we’ll let you know if parts can be sourced and whether repair is possible before moving forward.
Call ahead to make sure we have replacement parts on hand or can still acquire replacement parts for your specific clipper.
Should I repair my clipper or buy a new one?
In most cases, repairing a clipper is more cost-effective than replacing it. The main exceptions are when a major, high-cost component fails and the repair would exceed the value of a new unit, or when replacement parts are no longer available. Outside of those situations, repair is usually the more economical option and can extend the life of professional-grade equipment.
Do you repair other things?
Yes, alongside clippers, we can fix pet dryers. We are a service center for Double K pet dryers and Electric Cleaner Co pet dryers.
If you have a hair dryer that needs repaired, call 208-701-9191 to get on our waiting list for local hair dryer repairs. We are actively working on becoming a service center for top barber & beauty hair dryer brands.
